Transmission of Information and Wireless Communication: A Review

Abhishek Yadav, Ashok Kumar Yadav

Abstract

Today the internet has become a fundamental need of every person. For task completion, people employ wired or wireless networks. Users who benefit from faster wireless networks are proportionally fewer in number. Even while Wi-Fi can deliver speeds of up to 150 mbps, this is still not enough to support several users at once. The development of a Li-Fi-based system and an assessment of its performance in relation to current technology are the main topics of this article. LEDs, which will be utilised more and more in lighting technologies, will also make it possible to distribute broadband optical wireless signals. White LED-based visible-light communication (VLC) has a number of benefits over RF-based wireless systems, including license-free spectrum, reduced power consumption, and more privacy.
