GSM Module Technology: A Boon for Advance Security Systems
Abstract
The main objective of this paper is to design and implement advance security System for doors, lockers through OTP. In today’s world security hold and maintenance is negligible. There is a need of security system in mostly every sector of society viz. offices, houses, banks, restricted area etc. Worrying about crucial document and sensitive Information can be stolen by an unauthorized person. To overcome this security threat, a security system has been introduced using Microcontroller (ArduinoUno) and GSM Module (SIM900A) technology. This security system is basically a microcontrollerbased security system that allows only authorized person to access the restricted area with GSM Module technology through OTP. This system activates, authenticates, and validates the user and then permitted the authorized person to access the door/locker. Microcontroller is used to generate random password, i.e., OTP and GSM Module technology is used to send the password (OTP) to the authorized person’s mobile phone via message. The locker/doors open as the motor rotates after the correct password is pressed in the keypad which is send to the authenticated user’s mobile phone.References
