Abstract

ABSTRACT
Energy requirement is very much essential in modern society. Nowadays renewable energy resource like Bioenergy, hydropower, solar Energy, and wind Energy plays important role to produce electrical energy from watts rating to Giga watts rating. Nanomaterials based generators are a highly hopeful power supply for micro/nanoscale devices, capable of directly harvesting energy from ambient sources without the need for batteries. These generators have been designed within five main types; piezoelectric, triboelectric, thermoelectric, pyroelectric and electromagnetic. In this paper Materials used, Applications, Advantages are discussed. Finally, the various challenges are also outlined.

Keywords: Nanoparticles, Generator, Electrode, nanowire, Thermoelectric nanogenerators, Material.
