Abstract

ABSTRACT
In this paper, the design of automatic drip irrigation system for farmlands for the use of technique of MTTP is presented. The farmers working in the farmlands are dependent on the rains, river, pond and bore wells. Basically, the drip irrigation system was established in 1959 and it was named as Israel was developed by simcha Blass. Even if the farmland has a water-pump, most of the time it is being kept stand-still due to non-availability of grid power in the remote areas. Mainly drip irrigation is today’s need because water is major one. In the conventional drip irrigation system, the farmers can save all water, energy, laboring time and production cost. The main objective of the paper is to establish a automatic drip irrigation using MTTP by adopting the internet of things where MTTP is a technique for solar industry to find a solution, it was first introduced in 1980 by integrating solar Photovoltaic system (SPV), microcontroller, soil moisture sensor, water tank, pump, internet of things etc. IOT employed in this work contributes not only to save energy, water, fertilizers but also ensure uniform watering at right time without manual intervention. It leads to improve the improve the quality and quantity of agricultural fields.
